Rowan Oliver

Rowan Oliver is a multidisciplinary, non-binary transwoman artist working on Wurundjeri Country in the Kulin Nation—also known as Melbourne. Her artistic practice encompasses many formats, including moving image, performance and poetry—and she divides her time between it, work, the internet, hanging out with her friends and more.

Darwin Indigenous Art Fare

The Darwin Aboriginal Art Fair showcases the contemporary fine art of over seventy Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Art Centres at its annual event. The fair is held in Darwin, on Larrakia Country, at the Darwin Convention Centre.
Hanging Valley.

Hanging Valley is a curatorial collective aiming to explore and promote contemporary culture in a variety of locations and experience platforms.

“Kade McDonald recently returned to Melbourne after nearly six years living and working in Yirrkala, north-east Arnhem Land, where he was coordinator at renowned Indigenous art centre Buku-Larrnggay Mulka. His experiences in the NT gave him an incredible insight into the diversity and vibrancy of contemporary Indigenous art practice. Hanging Valley offers Indigenous and non-Indigenous artists ‘a unique spread…not only commercial shows but also skills development and major partnerships with institutions across the globe” Jessica Booth and Laetitia Prunetti Thursday 15th June 2017
