2SP acknowledges acknowledges the traditional owners of the Wurundjeri and neighbours Boon Wurrung people, and their continuing connection to land, sea and community. 2SP pays tribute to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in Yarra, and gives respect to the Elders past and present.

2SP in the City of Yarra is a not for profit Inclusive, Accessible, Multi-Disciplinary Curatorial Space. Our fast Response Performance Visual art outcomes respond to positive social change and provides inclusive curatorial residencies for Curators.

Since 2016, 2SP is very grateful to the City of Yarra for supporting our fast response program through their Small Project Grants.

Our 2017-2019 Fast Response Program  partnered with the University of Melbourne’s Wellbeing Arts Graduate Student Group (WBA) enrolled at both Southbank and Parkville to collaborate with students and Alumni, and Emerging and Established Artists whose practice is in line with positive social change.

Artist and curator Bon Mott facilitates 2SP and lives and works in The City Of Yarra.Ngár-go (Fitzroy).
Bon Mott identifies as lightning, neurodiverse and non-binary.
2021 marks the 5th year of 2SP exhibiting shows committed to raising the voices of marginalised and disadvantaged artists from diverse communities that respond to expanded knowledge to create positive social change through our fast response curatorial program.
Bon Mott’s practice is transdisciplinary and performative. Their installations aim to upturn binary narratives through learning from the trickster and invites audiences to learn about the multiple fields of lightning as a modality to guide society to expansive and positive social change. Bon holds an undergraduate and Masters degrees are in sculpture and Masters design philosophy. Bon is a PhD candidate at The University of Melbourne’s Fine Art and music.
Bon’s work is process-driven sculpture, working with a wide range of materials utilising methods of film making and choreography. Recent international exhibitions and performances have taken place in Belgrade, Serbia; London, UK; Minneapolis, USA; Niagara, Canada; Saint Remy, France; Venice, Italy. Bon collaborates with Yarra's nonbinary, queer Maori artist, Sean Miles. Together they tackle binaries from the perspective of the trickster.
